N. Korhan Şengün, Founder and President of the Business World and Law Association, started his career as a freelance lawyer and established his law firm in 1990. He initially served as a legal expert in Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works. He provided the necessary legal consulting for contract signing. He was also a legal adviser to various trade unions of the Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions of Türkiye (DİSK). Later, he attended collective bargaining negotiations with various trade unions as the legal representative of a wide range of employers, taking part in each stage from the initial negotiations to the signing of agreement.
He served as a legal advisor to asset management companies, factoring companies, as well as companies operating in media, outdoor advertising, automotive, transportation, and insurance brokerage.
He is engaged with promoting the relationship of the media industry with the Turkish Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK). He is also a legal adviser and a Board member of a major media group in Türkiye and an outdoor advertising company.
He serves as a legal advisor to a major global company in the automotive industry and leads its collective bargaining negotiations.
He provides effective legal consulting to recently-grown local funding activities and is the attorney of a foreign fund operating in Türkiye.
N. Korhan Şengün also worked in international transportation law and was a speaker in seminars on international transportation. He worked in the fields of Transportation and Private Insurance Law. As a legal advisor, he resolved the litigations of various companies before legal and administrative authorities and defended them in their cases. His expertise includes but is not limited to Individual and Collective Labor Law, Commercial Law, Corporations Law, Banking Law, Transportation and Private Insurance Law, Capital Markets Law, Competition Law, Immovable Property Law, and Intellectual Property Law.
He is still working as a freelance attorney as the co-founder of Şengün & Partners Attorney Partnership and serves to clients in special projects.
He has also founded the Business World and Law Association to build rapport between businesspeople and attorneys and to find legal solutions to the challenges of the business world.
